Talks on hypertension and diabetes in menopause, were rendered, by a Cardiologist and an Endocrinologist followed by a panel discussion on common problems in Perimenopause. |

| Club 35 plus was inaugurated in Thrissur on 8th may, 2010. It was attended by 70 Women. Health cards were issued. Blood pressure was recorded, Body mass index calculated and waist hip ratio measured. 38 women have become members of club 35 plus. Dr.Jaideepmalhotra, Dr.RozaOlyai, and Dr.IndraniGanguly lighted the inaugural lamp and addressed the gathering. The inaugural address was delivered by Dr.Ramdas, IMA president of Thrissur branch. |

May 19th IMS Gurgaon organized a meeting of all its members & a few other colleagues wanting to become members & wanting to know more about the organization. A talk was delivered by Dr PushpaSethi the highlights of which were 1) How to increase the present membership 2) Starting of Menopausal clinics 3) Social service networking which includes club-35 4) Academic work. This was followed by a small cultural programme. |
June 23rd  Club 35 meet of Gurgaon chapter was held at South City Club, it was attended by over 50 members. The guest speakers, DrNarenderMalhotra& Dr JaideepMalhotra spoke on 'All about breast - self examination, problems & management.' | May 15th A meeting of Club 35 Plus members was held on 15th May at Hotel Landmark in. The theme was Breast Self Examination& the speaker was Dr. Jalaj( General surgeon) the talk was followed by a documentary film on breast self exam. It was decided to provide free mammography camp for members of the club & this was courtesy Cancer hospital & research center by the director Dr. B. R. Shrivastava .The panel of expert doctors were Dr.Ratna Kaul, Dr. RozaOlyai, & Dr. AchlaSahai. Mrs. Daisy Bapuna conducted the program which had wide media coverage. 5th June  A CME was organised by IMS Gwalior Chapterat Hotel Central Park. Dr. Ajay Pal Singh spoke on “Thyroid disorders in Women” .This was followed by a panel discussion on ‘Evaluation & Management of Common Thyroid Disorders in Women- Adolescence to Menopause’.ThePanelists were Dr. B. R. Shrivastava, Dr.RatnaKaul, Dr.JyotiBindal and Dr.Ripu Daman. The moderator was Dr.RozaOlyai. Chaired by Dr. O. P. Jatav and Dr.VeenaAgrawal.Free Mammography Camps and Club 35 meetings were also organised by the Chapter. |

 The IMS Hyderabad Chapter organized a CME on ” Lasers” at Hampshire Plaza from 2.30 pm to 5pm. The CME was Chaired by DrD. Pushpalatha, DrSavitha Devi & DrVidyadhari and was attended by more than 50 Obstetrician and Gyneacologists. The programme initiated with a welcome address by Dr. C. Ambuja. DrMeeta was felicitated as the forthcoming President 2012 of IMS. DrSavitha Devi gave away the prizes to DrMridula and DrPallavi from Deccan Medical College for being the winners in the IMS Quiz held on 25th January in Hyderabad. This was followed by an installation Ceremony of the new Executive Office Bearers of the IMS Hyderabad Chapter. |

| 25th November to 25th February 2010 |
| A yoga camp which was arranged for women above 40 years from 25th November to 25th February 2010–in association with YogabhyasiMandal at Nagpur. MRS score was obtained on Menopause Rating Scale .More than 250 women had enrolled for the study. Under expert supervision, yoga was performed by these women for three months, for one hour daily between 6 am to 7 am. During three months period these women were also educated on various aspects of menopausal health by various members of IMS. At the end of three months again MRS score was obtained. All participants were very happy and requested to continue the camp activity throughout the year. Hence the Yoga class is continuing. DrVibhavariDani (ex Dean, Government Medical College and DrPramilaAsolkar were the guests. There was significant difference in the two MRS scores. Screening of these women for TSH was also done during this period. Results of the study will be presented by DrSulabha Joshi and DrUjwalaDeshmukh during the conference at Colombo. |

| 7th March DrUjwalaDeshmukh was invited as an expert in a programme organized by ZP for panchayatsamityon 7th and 8th March 2010.1200 women attended the programme. |
| 8th March DrUjwalaDeshmukh delivered an a talk on scope of health of women and cancer cervix at YWCA on 8thMarch , World Womans Day. |
| 28th March A programme on menopausal health and role of undergraduates was conducted for final MBBS students at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Digdoh Hills Nagpur on 28th March. |
| 31st March DrUjwalaDeshmukh conducted an educationprogramme for Anganwadishikshikas at Bachatbhavan. More then 350 women attended the programme. |
| 15TH April An article written by DrUjwalaDeshmukh on cancer cervix was published in local news paper on 15th April 2010. |
| 24th April An educational programme for women in rural area of Hingna was arranged on 24th April 2010. 50 women attended it. skit recorded by IMS Nagpur Chapter was played. |
| 24th May Talk on menopausal health at GajananMaharaj Yoga Mandal on 24 May by DrSulabha Joshi ) DrSeemaKanetkar conducted an interactive session at Railway Hospital Nagpur on Menopausal Health “Myths and Realities“. The programme was organized by Doctors Forum Railway Hospital Nagpur. |

| January 10th CME was organized on Stress Urinary Incontinenceby GynaecDept. in Medical College, Patiala. Lecture delivered by Dr JB Sharma from AIIMS Delhi. |
| February 24th DrVeena Jain FromOswal Cancer Institute Ludhiana did a live Workshop on Radical Hysterectomy and discussed evaluation of “Post Menopausal Bleeding”. It was attended by about 110 delegates. |
| March 12th A Group Discussion on Menstrual Problems in Peri Menopausal age and “How to greet Menopause cheerfully” was conducted in Women’s College. Many college lecturers participated enthusiastically. |
| April 25th Lectures on Menopausal health were given by Faculty to Students, Staff nurses, B.A.M.S Students in the Dept of Gynaecology. |
| May 1st Live Workshop on Laparoscopicsurgery and a talk on “Management of vault prolapse in laparoscopy”was conducted by Dr Arvind from Delhi it was attended by 90 delegates. |
| May 30th A CME on OVARIAN MALIGNANCY was organized at GMC,Patiala.Dr Indira Ganguly HOD Deptt of Obst and Gynaec. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi discussed about Germ cell Tumours. DrVeena Jain HOD,Oswal Cancer Institute, Ludhiana spoke on “Surgical Management of Ovarian Malignancy”.DrShurbhi from Oswal Cancer Institute, Ludhiana spoke on “Neo Adjuvant Chemotherapy”.DrManojMathur from Radiology Dept. shared various imaging modalities for diagnosing Ovarian Pathology.DrSarbhjitKaur from Dept. of Gynae described tumourmarkers.It was attended by 96 delegates. |

| 07 April 2010 A CME was held at Hotel Coronet. A lecture was given on Thyroid Disorders at Perimenopause by Dr.Uday Phadke, Endocrinologist. This was followed by a talk on Dermatological Issues in Women over 40 : Dr.Patwardhan, Dermatologist. The meeting ended with a lively discussion between the delegates and speakers. |

| May13th Apublic awareness programme was arranged at the rotary Midtown senior Citizen Park. Our members Dr.Pratima Parikh and Dr.ShilpaThaker delivered audio-video demonstrations on menopause. it was attended by many man and women members of the senior citizen park.The crowd took deep interest and many questions were satisfactorily answered. May 30th  A Seminarwas organised at the Hotel Grand Regency. Dr.BehramAnklesaiaspoke on "Individualized Management of Menopause." A panel discussion on 'Problems in Practical Management of Menopause' was the next. 56 Delegates including Gynecologists, an Orthopeditian, aurosurgeon and a Psychiatrist participated in the Seminar. June 19th A public awareness seminar on "Midlife obesity and prevention of common cancers in female near menopausal age" was organized in association with “Sangini group- Rajkot “at Red Cross society auditorium, by Dr.AmeeMehta(president ROGS and Exec. Member, IMS Rajkot chapter) . About 60 participants were explained about the causes of obesity, role of exercise and diet, osteoporosis and role of calcium. Their weight and heights were measured and also their BMI calculations were given to them. Their haemoglobin level were also examined. |

| February 13th An executive council meeting called to plan yearlong activities of the chapter and arrange the sponsorship for the same. March 4th An academic meet was held at Swaroop Vilas hotel. Dr.NazeemaSalodaspoke on “Alternative therapies in menopause”. March 8th A public awareness activity was conducted on the occasion of Women’s Day. March 31st A lecture on “Osteoporosis” by Dr.RamavtarSaini, Ass. Prof.in Dept of Orthopedics, Geetanjali Medical College at Hotel Raj Darshan. April 17th A talk on “CAM therapy in menopause” by DrKaushalChundavat was arranged at Hotel India international. May 30th  The day was celebrated as the first anniversary of Udaipur Chapter. A grand programme arranged in collaboration with Bohra Youth and Khanjipeer memorial trust at Bohra community center in Udaipur. A talk to create awareness of Menopause was given by DrKaushalChundawat, A session of Exercises for 35 Plus Women was organized by DrGuneet and a free BMD test was conducted by Meyer Pharma for all the participants. |
